Chapter 13:Mobilization works

Factories and warehouses: Chapter 13

Once the contract is awarded to the contractor,the contractor would be given 2 weeks
to mobilize their works.

During these period,the following work must be done prior to the commencement of work
on site:

1.setting out and level control point survey;
2.purchase of Contractor All Risk(CAR) including workmen compensation and public liability insurance;
3.application to the authorities for temporary 'kongsi'and store;
4.Construction of hoarding;
5.construction of silt trap;
6.temporary electricity and water supply;
7.pay the CIDB fees;
8.Submission of Form 'B'to the Local Authorities by Engineer.
